While visiting family in Portugal I discovered my first cork bag which is shown in this photo. I knew that I wanted to share this unique product with others. After a few more visits back to Portugal, I'm excited and happy to say that I'm now able to do so. Cork is a soft, supple and durable material that is naturally water repellent and antimicrobial. Cork is also a fully renewable resource. Not a single tree is cut down during the hand-harvesting process. Cork comes from the bark of a cork oak tree, not the trunk. Each one of my a.Clara bags is created in Portugal, designed by a leather craftsman with over 20 years of couture house experience in Paris. He's since returned to Portugal where he creates the line in a shop next door to his home. I hope you will browse and find just the right bag for you and your customers.
