About Rug Bug Circus

Hi friends! My name is Jasper and I'm a textile artist based in Richmond, Virginia. You can call me your friendly neighborhood yarn-slinger! About two years ago, I purchased a secondhand tufting machine and frame, and have since spent any available time since rapidly firing yarn into a stretched canvas at around 700 RPM. Oh, and untangling lots and lots of knots. Like so many knots. With Rug Bug Circus, I focus on translating two-dimensional designs into three-dimensional textile art displays. I want my art to invite anyone who happens upon it to reach out and feel the fibers for themselves. If I someday have an exhibit featuring my designs, everyone would be invited to touch the art!
