About Rocking The Clock

Rocking The Clock Dave Hurwitz resides in Marin County California. While practicing my drums in my studio, I needed to know the time and realized there was no clock. Looking at a vintage snare drum that I had on the floor, I thought of creating a clock with the drum. I made the clock and my band mates thought it was one of the coolest things they'd seen, and that was the birth of Rocking The Clock. I now create clocks from vintage drums and guitars, and recently added lamps and accent furniture. I rescue instruments that need , or are beyond repair, giving new life to an otherwise unplayable instrument. The clocks are from vintage wall and desk clocks. New precision battery movements are installed. I create unique gifts for guitarists, drummers, and music lovers.
