About Dreamer & CO

At Dreamer & Co we operate under the belief that consuming goods in a globalized economy should be more than about ourselves—fashion should be more than trends, and business should be more than profits. We do this by using fashion and business to empower women around the world. We connect consumers with beautiful, handmade products that are produced responsibly, ethically, and transparently for the benefit of others. We achieve this by providing job skills and a fair, living wage to our partner artisans in the Horn of Africa and Kenya, helping them realize their potential and feel empowered, dignified, and in turn, flourish in their daily lives. Dreamer & Co was founded by Baylee Eby and Jessica Gardner. Both Baylee and Jessica traveled to the Horn of Africa in 2015 to support a local non-profit. They met their artisan partner's through this non-profit who had started a vocational center for women, training them skills just as sewing and jewelry making. They were both inspired by the work these women were doing. Jessica went on to move her family to the Horn of Africa to work with the women full-time through a local non-profit, while Baylee started dreaming of a way to sell the women’s jewelry to a more expansive market so that they could better provide for their financial needs. A few years later after a lot of dreaming, brainstorming, and prayer, on April 2nd, 2018, they launched Dreamer & Co.Read their story
