Deeply inspired by bogland and Abbeyleix Bog in particular, her art engages with themes of extractivism and renewal. Through delicate lines and subtle washes, she captures nature’s resilience and the emotional pull of place. Her work is a space to pause—inviting viewers into landscapes shaped by history, memory, and restoration. McEvoy’s practice honours the interconnectedness of people and land, offering a gentle but urgent call to protect what remains and restore what was lost.
