Jacoba Jane was founded in 2019 with what began as a small online shop born out of a simple love for dressmaking and beautiful fabrics, later evolving into an eponymous brand that now ships worldwide. Jacoba Jane is available on some of the world’s top platforms including Wolf & Badger, Verishop, DOORS NYC, and IN-SEAM - the latter of which we have the honor of being listed among some of the world’s top brands including DIOR, The Row, Rosetta Getty, and Cecilie Bahnsen, to name a few. Jacoba Jane specializes in bias cut silk dresses, all of which are designed in our seaside studio on the west coast of Canada. We create for those who appreciate fine fabrics and understated details. Many of the styles are cut on the bias to capture the easy fluidity of the silk fabric. Fabric is our foundation, our guide, and what we believe is one of our main points of difference. We use some of the most luxurious fabrics on the market, including 30-40 momme silk weights in our bridal collection. Read their story
