About True North Chandlers - Candles
Hello! Welcome to our brand new shop on FAIRE. True North Chandlers was established in 2020 making soap and candles, but the candles took over pretty quickly. The name has stuck, but since 2021 we've been solely making colourful candles! It started off with Nino, mum of 3 young children, making them in her family kitchen in bonnie Scotland. It's a proper family business now with Neal involved as well and Kat, our part-time candle maker extraordinaire! Sustainability is really important to us, so packaging is minimal and our candles have the Swan Eco-Label. If you'd like to follow our small business, please check out our instagram page. I am so happy I discovered True North Chandlers on Instagram which led me to placing my first order via Faire. They perfectly fit the fairground/circus/nostalgia vibe of my shop. The designs are so original and the colors are spot on - vibrant but not garish. I have nearly sold out of the first order and have just placed a second - my customers love them and the fact they are made by a small independent business in Scotland. And it has been a joy to communicate with them!
