About DABU

Located in Udaipur, Rajasthan, the DABU studio is tucked away in a bustling neighborhood. It's full of plants, has plenty of open space, and a mud house for an office. It's our home. Here, we make home textiles the old and slow way. From start to finish we design, naturally dye materials, and stitch each product. But our work wouldn't be complete without the community of craftspeople across Rajasthan that supply the natural raw materials and the expert dabu block printers who bring our designs to life. At DABU, we are committed to keeping the artistry of local craft and environment at the heart of our work. We love art and the process of creating by hand, and want to honor the generations of knowledge and skill particular to this region. We also consider the environments of our studio and your home. Our vision is for homes that are unique, restful, and foster connection. And we want our studio to be that too! A place for people to come together and create in a pleasant and peaceful space.
