Started in 2018, born from the idea that even as we lead busy lives we can also help the environment. I started Radical Roots because of a conversation I had with a transport driver. This transport driver was not typically so eco-friendly, but he wished he could. We discussed how helping the environment seemed like a daunting task and that where he sat was too big of an issue for him to try to tackle, along with his 50-60 hour work weeks and his children. So I got thinking of how someone like him could participate and feel accomplished in environmental conservation. Boom, seed bombs! Not only do they take a second to drop or throw, but the environmental benefits are huge. From improving soil conditions, and saving the bees and butterflies to offering food and shelter for mammals. Radical roots create handmade seed bombs to promote bee, butterfly, and plant conservation. seed bombs are ping-pong-sized balls, comprised of nutrient-dense soil, clay, and seeds and formed with water. They can be used in gardens and on the property where you don't always have the time to dig, till, and plant flowers. Or thrown into abandoned lots that can use a little extra life added to them. When they are used the seeds are dispersed and fertilized at the same when watered or it rains
