About Penny and Me

Penny is the pup behind the production. Born in Portland Oregon, she’s a Lagotto Romagnolo, a breed that originates in Italy (just like some of our leather) and specializes in truffle hunting. But instead of sniffing for truffles, Penny is our resident product tester! She’s a silly, cuddly member of our family, and the inspiration behind the Penny and Me designs. And I’m Jess, her person. With a passion for pups and quality, handmade products, I love making leather goods for pets and their people. All of Penny and Me’s products are carefully thought-out and constructed from premium leather with function, style, and durability in mind.
