Who are we? We are a family owned and operated business. Our mission is to provide others with handcrafted products that help them be happier and healthier. Why we do what we do? Honeybear was started out of a desire to help people. As a healthcare provider I want to help people. I do this on a daily basis in my clinic. What I have seen is that people do not take time for themselves. We are all busy and there never seems to be enough hours in the day. However, if we take a little time to enjoy ourselves and relax when we can we tend to be happier healthier people. So, Why candles? Scents have a soothing and calming effect on us. When we are calm and relaxed it often lowers blood pressure and heart rate. Scents can also stimulate the limbic system (which is in our brain), this then can trigger emotions and memories. These emotions and memories release hormones like serotonin and dopamine (these are our happy hormones). Our skin is a vital part of our health so we need to use great products to keep it healthy. All of the ingredients we use in our body products were chosen to provide a skin benefits. Each oil in our soap is good for the skin and promotes healthy nourished skin. All of our products have their ingredients listed, we want you to know what is in our products, look up the ingredients and see what benefits it offers.
