About Epic Wipes

The story of Epic Wipes began in the dusty heat of an Afghanistan summer. Our founder, Dr. Aeneas Janze, noticed that his fellow soldiers needed something they did not have. When showers were unavailable, they needed a portable yet powerful way to clean up and feel ready for what might come next. Normal wet wipes were too small and flimsy (Ever try cleaning your back with a baby wipe?), and after using them for days at a time a chemical residue would start to build up on the skin. At first Aeneas just wanted something that was bigger – a lot bigger – but after looking a little deeper, he realized that most wipes were actually full of toxic substances, and therefore unfit for daily, full-body use. When it finally became clear that nothing even close to ideal existed on the market, Aeneas decided to make the wipes himself. So began a three-year development process to create a simple product with profound implications for how we live our lives. After testing many different formulas and materials, in the summer of 2016 Epic Wipes finally hit the market with a bang. Within a year Epic Wipes became an international success and continues to grow in popularity among the most likely and unlikely of fans - from deployed military to moms on the go.
