About Redbud Jewelry

Janeane started her professional life as an actress. After feeling burned out in her acting career, she took a beginning metalsmithing class “just for fun”. That first class led to many more years of study, including time spent as a resident artist in India working with local craftspeople. She launched her own line in 2013 and works out of her Chicago studio and storefront where she also teaches classes. Her designs are inspired by the plains of Oklahoma where she grew up, her Chickasaw Native heritage, and the desire to keep fine craft alive. Read their story
