Feeling! Press is a greeting card company founded in New York City by writer and illustrator Jenna O'Brien. Tucked at the top of Jenna's closet is a grey, silver-studded box with birthday cards stashed from nearly every year of her life. Next to it is a felt pouch containing every scrap of high school correspondence her crush in Journalism class delivered to her locker in secret. Words scribbled down on paper seem to mean more to her than anything else. So designing greeting cards felt like a natural extension of her love for design, writing, and memory documentation. Every card is thoughtfully designed by hand from her desk in Brooklyn. Each card is packed and shipped with care and intention from the brownstone she shares with that crush from Journalism class. Jenna writes a best-selling design magazine on Substack and recently debuted two published works: The Joy of Color Calendar and The Joy of Stickers book. Every design is made with an unflinching attachment to hope despite all circumstances and an understanding of the importance of joy in sorrow. Reminders of little things sustain us through hard times, and we could all certainly use these reminders delivered in a crisp, cream envelope.
