Dottie is all about dreams and believing in yourself. The creator of the brand Samantha, always knew she wanted to be a business owner. Having a background as an executive in the fashion industry, and having a love for that world, Samantha knew that she'd like to stay in that realm. Little did she know that it would be in conjunction with another of her passions - running - that it would become a reality! While participating in long distance races, Samantha and her mom would design and create elaborate running tutus. After being stopped multiple times, they realized this was a way to "get their feet wet" in the business world. Thus, Dottie for Running was created. The name is inspired by Samantha's grandmother, Dorothy, who brought her family to America to pursue their dreams. Having a product, Samantha then sourced independent female seamstresses to help create the tutus, and Miss Lillie still heads up that team today.
