Paisclayco started as a creative hobby in 2020. I was a recent college graduate (2019) and got that pit in my stomach thinking, “is the corporate world my life now?” - plus throwing a pandemic in the mix, it was a perfect storm. I needed a way to understand this next chapter in my life, and I finally dared to begin processing my mom’s death. She battled with severe bipolar depression and we unexpectedly lost her in 2017. Thankfully, creating clay jewelry was really therapeutic for me and was one of the best decisions that I’ve ever made for my mental health, my grieving self, and future self. Paisclayco is more than clay jewelry – it's a tribute to my mom's memory. And now, as these pieces find their way into your lives, her memory gets to continue. We're a Latina-owned small business nestled in the heart of Grand Rapids, MI. Our jewelry is inspired by neutral colors and modern yet minimalist designs. Earrings are handmade with polymer clay and our posts are hypoallergenic. The good doesn't end there - we're all about being eco conscious and keeping waste in check, so we promise to never use plastic in our packaging.
