About Chris and Jane's Place
In January 2011 Chris Stever was stuck in horrible traffic when he came up with a funny idea. What if the zombie apocalypse could effect mythical creatures like gnomes? Thinking it was a funny idea, Chris made one for a special effects class he was taking. His classmates loved it so much that he decided to make some more with the help of his then girlfriend Jane. Now 8 years later Chris and Jane have sold over 14,000 Zombie Gnomes to over 12 different countries. All of their products are handmade and painted in Southern California by the two of them.

Ordered over a month and a half ago, contacted after 3 weeks of no delivery, no communication prior to this. Asked if cannot have order out within week to just cancel. STILL do not have the complete order, received half of it, invoiced for missing pieces, received broken pieces. Many emails stating on reasons that the makers cannot deliver. In process now of returning items and dealing with FAIRE on the broken/ missing items. I was really excited for these products, but the back end is a headache to wait/ deal with. Not worth the time.

We're very sorry for the experience this customer had with us. We do our best to accommodate all of our customers while working at home with our 2 children under 6. When items broke during firing & we were not able to ship everything out, we offered to refund the missing items. She said it was okay and that she would wait. We kept her updated on the process & when items were missing or broken in her original shipment, we did not charge her for the extra shipment. Great assortment of figurines and planters. The t-rex and raptor planters are great, bigger than I was expecting but look good in the shop/gallery. Hoping the creepy little gnomes will be a hit. Great price point, fun work.
