DressWeights™ are reusable, adhesive micro-weights that you stick on the interior hem of garments to prevent clothing from flying up in the wind a la Marilyn Monroe! These infamous wind blown moments need to be a thing of the past which is why Christina Dunn invented a solution for women everywhere who love the liberating feeling of wearing a fun, flirty and flowy dress but also want to feel empowered rather than vulnerable and exposed as they strut around in their flowy frocks. At the time Christina came up with the idea of DressWeights, she was working full-time as a teacher in New York City. After all of Manhattan and half of Brooklyn had seen her lady bits, Christina decided enough was enough. She shared this omnipotent "gale fail" with her brother-in-law and Notre Dame classmate (GO IRISH!), Peter McCullough. Peter has an engineering background and is an avid golfer. He made the crafty suggestion that Christina put some of his adhesive golf club weights on the interior hem of her dress to prevent this fashion faux-pas. After much trial and error, Peter and Christina co-designed, prototyped, manufactured and now sell their patent pending windy day fashion fix. Christina created DressWeights because not only was there nothing like it on the market, but she wanted to provide women with a sense of security to go about their days with confidence no matter where the wind may take them.
