Cottonbook cares about everyday acts of magic, nurturing ourselves and our relationships, and protecting the earth and her creatures. In the face of all that is dark in the world, we find magic in supporting each other, attuning ourselves to the planet’s needs, and growing the sprout inside ourselves. The Founding of Cottonbook: Cottonbook launched as a website in 2016 as illustrator and designer Lucy Kagan sought a place to share her whimsical woodland cottagecore-tinged illustrations - in particular, in her witchy lifestyle zine Hazel and her original clothing designs. Inspired by Moomin Troll, Studio Ghibli, Beatrix Potter, and many other childhood favorites, Cottonbook creates a world of everyday magic that highlights the natural charm of the world around us.
