WHAT IS A SUSSY? The definition of a sussy (sus-sy) is: a small gift, given for nor particular occasion other than love and friendship, usually not wrapped and often not given directly but left as a surprise to find. When I was a little girl and my mom came home from trips or vacations she would happily announce that she had a 'sussy' for my sister and I. Naming my business after this memory brings joy and warmth to my heart just like receiving a Sussy from my mom. Creating with clay has always been transformative for me. Time seems to fall away, and the creative inspiration opens my heart.
