THE BRAND: Founded in 2013, Lorena Jijón Jewelry Design stands as a jewelry design studio and craftsmanship atelier that offers high end author jewelry pieces with an artistic touch, modern culture and fresh aesthetic. The designer creates exceptional luxury products in a wide range of categories featuring high-end design and timeless touch, with a sober but innovative spirit. The brand encourages high end manufacture processes that blends ancient craftsmanship techniques with the latest technological advances in the jewelry industry. Reaching excellence in every detail, from the birth of an idea and the develop of a design process, to the manufacture in the jewelry bench. We consider our brand as a Story teller: offering luxury products inside collections that tell stories with a clear and defined aesthetic, generating an evocative experience that suggests sophistication, delicacy and beauty. THE DESIGNER: Lorena is an Ecuadorian based Jewelry Designer and goldsmith with a significative trajectory in the jewelry business. She was trained as a jeweler in Ecuador, got her degree in jewelry design in Milan at the IED and finally did her masters degree in luxury design at the Creative Academy from the Richemont group in Milan. Before starting her own jewelry company, Lorena collaborated as an intern in Mariani (Milan) and Van Cleef & Arpels (Paris). She also was e design consultant at Dada Arrigoni (Bergamo). Later, Lorena moved to NY to design jewelry for Michael Kors.Read their story
