Burn Bags are made by a female firefighter, our of decommissioned fire hose, in the USA. 🇺🇸 Every Burn Bag comes with an authenticity tag telling the production number and where the fire hose served. 🔥 My name is Janelle and I am the owner, designer and stitcher here at Burn Bags USA. I have been married to my husband, Scott for 20 years. I have 3 kids, Reese, Nick and Asa. I am a volunteer firefighter and EMT at Summerfield Fire District. I love to run and take naps. The idea for Burn Bags started when we got new fire hose at our station and I noticed the stack of old fire hose that was going to be discarded. I took a roll home to play with and many design stages later we have the bags you see today. Every fire department color codes their hose. Locally we have supply line (hose) and attack line. Supply line is big and round and usually pretty stiff and goes from the water source to the pumper. Attack line is smaller and often softer and goes from the pumper into the fire. At our department our supply line is orange and yellow and our attack line is blue and green. You may notice that some of our bags are stiffer than others. This is because some is made from supply line and some from attack line.Read their story
