Founded by Ami and Sian, we’re proving that doing good is good for business by balancing people, planet, and profit. It all started in 2019 when Ami, struggling with chronic headaches, sought to eliminate plastics and harsh chemicals from her home. Finding no effective, zero-waste cleaning solutions in Australia, we realized traditional cleaners pollute indoor air and harm health. So, we created a better way. Pleasant State is Australia’s first concentrated cleaning bar brand. Our plant-based, zero-waste bars dissolve in tap water to create powerful, toxin-free cleaners. Beautifully designed and incredibly effective, they make it easy to clean sustainably without compromise. Bootstrapped and crowdfunded, we’ve already prevented 150,000 plastic bottles from landfills, generated 75,000 liters of toxin-free solutions, and raised $45,000 for charity. As Australia’s first certified B Corp cleaning brand and a 1% for the Planet member, we’re leading the just-add-water movement.
