About PIATONI

We design and manufacture deployable lighting fixtures. All our products are based on the same patented principle. They are delivered flat and will magically unfold to transform into lighting fixtures. We combine new technologies and artisanal know-how to offer eco-designed pieces of great precision while preserving the nobility of wood and its imperfections. Table lamps, pendants, wall lights, ceiling lights, floor lamps; PIATONI offers you a whole universe to explore. PIATONI is the brand created by the Corsican designer, Jean-Luc Alfonsi, to market the series pieces from our workshops. Before creating PIATONI, Jean-Luc accumulated experiences (Engineering, Design, Digital Craftsmanship) to gradually discover the creative approach that suits him. It was in 2018, by starting an exploration work on material and its behaviors, that he discovered a fascinating concept that particularly touched him... to the point of deciding to fully invest in discovering this unknown world. PIATONI becomes this world of hope, to be discovered. A world he designs in the image of his values, guided by the search for the essential, inspired by the movements of nature, with the desire to share the magic and emotions he encounters along his path.
