About The Seedy Merchant

The Seedy Merchant started when Nick and Caitlin realized they both shared a passion for arts and crafts. Nick has been an artist all his life, beginning with drawing but expanding into other mediums like painting, writing, and filmmaking, and received a certificate in fine arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison for his work in ceramics. Caitlin has been crafting with family members for as long as she can remember, has always excelled in drawing and design, practiced ceramics in school, and has designed many of the items currently featured in our shop! With a desire to share our passions with the world, we decided to open The Seedy Merchant - a shop that features items as eccentric as our own interests! Drawing inspiration from vintage America, nature, science fiction, and fantasy - and with a focus on using up-cycled materials - you'll be sure to find a unique treasure or gift at our shop that we hope you'll enjoy as much as we did making it!Read their story
