I come from a background in the nonprofit world where I worked to help get assistive technology into the hands of local blind children. When I left the working world and became a stay at home mom, I felt like I was losing a part of myself and my identity which had been so intertwined with my working identity. I wanted to do something just for me and since I love giving gifts, I decided to open a gift shop.
