About Ocean Bloom

Ocean Bloom is a seaweed skincare company from West Cork, Ireland. It is run by Leila Sidley who took over the reigns of the company in 2017 from her Aunt Cheryl Cleminson. Our story began when a family member was born with baby eczema. After exhausting many creams and treatments currently on the market, Cheryl, our founder, who is an aromatherapist, began trying different combinations of oils with different types of seaweed serum. Oil No.9 was created, Alfies skin began to improve and word soon spread within our local area. Ocean Bloom was born. The seaweed used to make our serum is hand harvested from the pristine shores of Beara, West Cork. This serum is in each and every one of our products. Seaweed has been used for centuries to treat all manner of skin conditions and we know that the seaweed serum within our products is of the highest standard.
