MERÏKH bags are companion for most occasions. MERÏKH bags first Multifunctional bag was created by Hannele Merik in 2008. The idea was born when walking her dog, mini pincher "Lowo", a need of an elegant small handbag for all personal- or pets items with possibility to attach on: pet leash, belt, bike etc. To be able to enjoy walks, activities and travels without having to carry anything. After receiving continuous questions where the bag was bought, and realizing that the bag was unique on the market, the first trial production was made in 2009 & design protection registered. Several years later in 2013 the complete MERÏKH bags collection and multifunction concept was created. The brand is more than just bags, it is a concept that gives you multi-functionality. The inspiration is collected from travels around the world. Hannele is born and raised in Stockholm with Finnish and Estonian roots, she has worked/studied in Sweden, Spain, China, Hong Kong, USA, & Estonia.
