About Clay & Brass

Clay & Brass is a line of modern ceramic jewelry, handmade for every woman. Created by artist and ceramicist Jaime Normand, each piece employs a unique combination of traditional materials (clay, metals, leather) to make an elegant statement. Born out of a small kiln in a small Brooklyn bedroom, Clay & Brass is a testament that good things come from (and in) small packages. Arriving home from her day job as an assistant and glaze specialist at a ceramic tableware company, Jaime would spend evenings in her New York City apartment continuing to make beautiful things: sculpting, firing, and assembling small beads into signature Clay & Brass designs. Having recently returned to her home state of Louisiana, Jaime is now expanding her jewelry line surrounded by nature, family, and Cajun culture. With her simple, stylish designs, she hopes to create versatile pieces that enhance the natural beauty and confidence of women from all ages and walks of life.Read their story
