About North and Nature

Our story began back in 2006- I never knew my first trip to the Rocky Mountains would be the start of my small business. The mountains felt like home. Fast-forward to 2009 I started taking landscape photos as a hobby. I traveled to Vancouver Island and was amazed by the scenery. My hobby eventually turned into a potrait photography business but for me, landscape photography was my passion. It wasn't until 2018 after a trip to Canmore that I decided to start selling my prints after much encouragement for family and friends. I started out with a few prints and now we have grown into a brand. Our products are inspired by the northern wilderness- our Nature Vignettes focus on the colors and look of different scenic landscapes like our Mountain Town which is inspired by Banff and Canmore. Our collection includes wall art, prints, pillows, mugs, cards and hand-crafted wood products.Read their story
