About Waku Waku Baby

Hi there! I'm Seiko, the founder and maker of Waku Waku Baby, a one-stop-shop where you can find all the cute and comfy must-haves for little ones. Each item is handmade by me in my home sewing studio located in the North Hills of Pittsburgh, PA from high-quality fabrics that are colorful and whimsical. All items are kid-approved for everyday comfort and mom-approved for easy care (machine washable and dryable). I strive to leave the smallest footprint by minimizing waste in production (ex incorporating organic fabric scraps into the homestead loveys) and sourcing organic and sustainable fabrics as much as possible. It's also important to note that all of our products are vegan. Waku waku means “to feel excited” in Japanese. I chose my shop name to reflect my Japanese roots and the feeling I get when I sew adorable baby items.
