About AfroTouch Design

Hi, I’m Georgina, the creative force behind AfroTouch Design, a brand that offers diverse greeting cards, stationery, and gifts. AfroTouch Design was founded almost a decade ago whilst on maternity leave. Frustrated by the lack of greeting cards representing my community, I created my own using African fabric. This led to the birth of Afrotouch, which started with just £50 and a laser cutting machine I won on a radio show! My mission, then and now, has always been to create a buying option on the high street and online for people looking for inclusive cards. In 2021, AfroTouch Design was a finalist in the prestigious UK Henries Award for diversity and inclusion. That same year, I made history by becoming the first female black-owned greeting card publisher to be stocked by Waterstones Bookshop, John Lewis and Selfridges. AfroTouch Design is my way of celebrating the diversity of Black experiences and the universal moments of joy, love, and accomplishment that we all share. I can’t wait to have you join the team.
