About August Table

August Table was founded by husband and wife team Krister and Carrie Allen in 2018 to inspire meals that include beautiful linens as feasts for the eyes, meaningful conversations, and connections with loved ones. Carrie is a trained artist in addition to her long entrepreneurial career and Krister is an architect by trade. The team create the textile designs for their linens and work with partners in India who have honed a centuries old craft of hand block printing while using eco-friendly, mill-made cotton and natural dyes. The napkins, tablecloths and dishtowels are August Table’s first product line with the mission of bringing more people to their tables for more joy, more love and more laughter. Read their story
