About Gibby's Frillery

My name is Kim Bligh, Owner, Designer and Head Seamstress for Gibby’s Frillery. My sewing life began as a little girl of 5 years old, sitting in my mother’s lap at the sewing machine. As a professional Interior Decorator, my mother, Lawanna, taught me to love beautiful fabrics of all textures and colors. I lovingly apprenticed her through countless sewing projects until I began to take on my own projects. That lifelong experience in domestic sewing led to a career in Commercial and Industrial sewing.
