About Oz & Ella

Oz & Ella was founded in 2017 and we specialize in Lifestyle jewellery made of alternative materials.. Founder Kelly Kan, with extensive fine jewellery design experience, created a teething necklace for toddler after failing to find one in the market that suited her style and design sensibilities. Once necklace led to twenty, and Oz & Ella as a company, participated in its first consumer show to resounding success in December the same year. Silicone- based necklaces shouldn't be only for mothers with teething babies or those with fidgeting needs. Kelly strived to produce stylish, well-made pieces that are design forward - something you’d want to wear for their aesthetic values and style. It should also be noted silicone is a perfect material for jewellery because it’s dirt, sweat, and waterproof. It can be washed with mild soap and warm water and air dried. Its light weight makes it perfect for everyday wear and travelling, especially for those beach vacations. As for the name of the Company, “Ella” is short for Elementals Jewellery Design, Kelly’s original jewellery design company (founded in 2011). “Oz” is Kelly’s first born, whose sense of curiosity had him chewing everything within reach, including that day when he reached into Kelly’s purse, found, and chewed on, a client's Tahitian pearl necklace .
