Designer for human freedom, UNCHAINED PARIS manufactures elegant and sophisticated pieces combining style, tradition and know-how. Vangovango Jewel symbol of freedom. We owe the open form of our jewels to the history of Vangovango. This traditional commemorative and symbolic bangle, appeared more than 150 years ago when slavery was abolished in Madagascar. The Vangovango is a representation of a broken handcuff, the one used to shackle men, who were later released. In a broad sense, the vangovango then symbolizes freedom. Creations thought and designed in Madagascar, Made in France. Our Franco-Malagasy brand first of all develops its designs in Madagascar. We design and work on the prototypes on site, in collaboration with Malagasy craftsmen. Thus, the objective is to preserve the identity of this ancient jewel while incorporating our inspirations in a refined style. The final jewels are then made in Ardèche, with a quality of finishes worthy of French know-how.Read their story
