Welcome to Millésime Baby - A Modern Take On The Classic Hand Knit. Our philosophy is that hand knits are 'forever' pieces if cared for correctly, as they will last a lifetime. Intended to be handed down from generation to generation and if lucky enough, be called an heirloom piece. Our current Collection sizing is from 0000 through to 8 years. Known for our simplicity and classic style, our pieces are thoughtfully designed in Melbourne, Australia and hand knitted by our talented artisans via fair trade in South America. These woman are able to work part time from their homes and provide an income for their families. They are also supported at the knit centre with training, education and necessities such as healthcare. We are so proud of this here at Millésime Baby and also so inspired by their amazing knitting techniques. We believe in ethical fashion, sustainable fashion and also eco-friendly fashion. The fibres used to knit our range are all natural fibres. The collections are made from 100% Pima Cotton or 100% pure Alpaca, both are the most luxurious and soft fibres.
