About Fish Tales at The Beach

I would like to introduce you to my new pet project-Fish Tales. (Pun intended!) In 2001, I created, owned, and operated Miss Lucille’s Gossip Parlor on 30-A at Gulf Place in Santa Rosa Beach Florida and sold it in 2004. Watercolor painting has become a hobby and I love to paint this fish. When I realized I had no more wall space for them, it was time to “release” them. Why fish? * Fish are cute and very clever. * Fish don’t harbor grudges or hire lawyers-I can do what I want and not worry about pay-back or law suits. * Fish think they are smarter than people, and they are. Fish wouldn’t sit in a boat in the hot sun swatting mosquitoes all day on the off-chance that they may catch one of us. *Fish live life simply-they eat, sleep, poop, breed, and enjoy nature. * Fish make good house guests- they don’t talk much, they only stick around as long as you feed them, and they leave if you ignore them. * Fish are good ingredients for zany ideas and funny images as well as for tacos and Poboy sandwiches.
