About Dear Collector (formerly Morgan Harris Design)

My name is Morgan Harris, and I'm the artist behind Dear Collector, a watercolor stationery and paper goods brand based in the foothills of North Carolina. I founded Morgan Harris Design in 2018 after graduating from college, where I spent seven years creating hand-painted custom wedding stationery for couples looking for an heirloom, one-of-a-kind experience. Every invitation suite was thoughtfully designed and painted by hand, and that foundation continues to influence everything I create today. While my work began in weddings, my heart has always been in creating art for everyday life. Today, my collection includes fine art prints, paper goods, stickers, journals, and my monthly Dear Collector Mail Club—a subscription that delivers an original art print and handwritten-style letter to mailboxes each month, celebrating the beauty found in ordinary moments. I primarily work in watercolor and gouache, drawing inspiration from nostalgic details, seasonal living, fresh food, flowers, cozy homes, and the mountains of North Carolina. My hope is that every piece feels like a letter from a friend, something beautiful enough to keep and meaningful enough to return to again and again.Read their story
