About Contemporary Maison

Contemporary Maison began as a creative outlet. I wanted to make the kind of beautiful, minimalist items I would buy for my own home. I’ve always loved simple, calm, minimalist decor with clean lines and no labels. I started making candles with store-bought jars and quickly realized I needed more of a challenge. I taught myself to make concrete decor, an aesthetic I love. After months of watching tutorials and experimenting with different cement blends, color pigments, and silicone moldings - making a huge mess in the process - I succeeded in making items I love, and know others will too.
