Architect Nadine was in a rush to get to the studio. Baby Lily had to be dropped off to grandma, and Nadine got a last minute work call. The food she had prepared would have to stay in the fridge, as she now didn’t have the time to grab the bib, the bowl, the spoon and the wipes. Nadine picked up a couple of her emergency shop bought food pouches, and slung them in the bottom of the pram so she wouldn’t miss the bus. On the bus into work, Nadine thought she would go to the supermarket later and try to find some re-usable food pouches so that she could put her own food into the pouches for emergencies like these. She was surprised that she couldn’t find anything suitable- a quick no brainer solution for busy mums that wanted to feed their children healthy food, whilst not contributing to more landfill. When she got home that evening, she mocked up what she wanted, and called her cousin who had a packaging company. Zaid thought they’d be a really good idea. So did dad, Lixie, Lisa, Richard, Nicky, and the list goes on… In 2015, After 2 years of product development and market research, DoddleBags were launched to a great response.
