Our adventure started in 2020 during the lockdown period of the pandemic. I had to make the tough decision to stay home from work to be with my daughter while the schools and daycares closed down. Between virtual learning and trying to keep her entertained, we were always looking for new things to spend our time on. One afternoon we ran out of ideas. She was starting to be a little silly and she began asking how do you make play dough, how do you make crayons, and it went on and on. Then she says “Mommy how do you make a candle?” And it was that second that I was like hey maybe this is something we can try to make together. I researched for hours trying to piece together exactly how to make a candle that was as natural as possible and safe. We had so much fun together and created a candle that not only smelt amazing but looked so cute too! Soon after, we started sharing what we made with family and friends and with some encouragement and a lot of testing I finally decided to share these candles with everyone! We currently have our Candles and Wax Melts in a few stores across Saskatchewan and are expanding into new locations in Alberta and Manitoba.
