About Art by Sarah-Katherine Semon

All my life I have had a passion for creating art, I dabbled in many styles and techniques throughout my schooling but it wasn’t until 2018 that I found my personal artistic vision. By utilizing layers of wood, modeling paste, acrylic paint, gilding leaf, and resin I aim to breathe life into every piece that I create. I’m inspired by the culture and symbols of my home state of Louisiana and the many Holidays that we celebrate throughout the year. I believe in celebrating the small things everyday and I strive to use my art as a way to help others do the same. It is important to me that every piece I create is unique and that every collector feels that their piece is special and made just for them. Read their story
