About Amarcord

FOUNDATION Amarcord was founded in 1940 in northern Italy as a family company producing leather goods. After the Second World War, the youngest members of the family began to expand their reach and their skills to become “Master Leathermakers” producing travel and office items, bags, belts and other types of high-quality handmade leather goods. About 20 years ago, from the chance encounter between a family member and a friend, who was also passionate about leather processing, the current company AMARCORD was born. INSPIRATION Drawing inspiration from the binding techniques used since the Middle Ages, AMARCORD has managed to create modern and attractively designed products using excellent raw materials such as genuine leather, completely acid-free paper interiors or handmade marbled papers. This is how a range of notebooks, diaries, columns, signature books, photo albums and products packaged on request was created, contemporary objects with a “touch” of old Italian style. PRODUCTION Always inextricably linked to the territory and to the perfect logistic position, Amarcord continues to produce and believe in the “Made in Italy” brand.
