About Po Yan Leung

Po Yan Leung is an Asian American artist residing in Los Angeles who received a Bachelor of Art in Illustration from ArtCenter College of Design. Her current practice is heavily inspired by alchemy and lullabies and concentrates on two-color pen and ink drawings with occasional gilding embellishments. She strives to create whimsical storytelling with magical adventures and fantastic creatures on paper that speak to the child in all of us. My artistic process begins with the traditional pen and ink method on watercolor paper. Once completed, I scan all illustrations at high resolutions for documentation and future production. I use archival ink and fine art paper with an inkjet printer, examining each print before packaging to ensure accurate reproduction.Read their story
