We are Chris and Jesenia, a husband and wife team from Los Angeles who took an unexpected and serendipitous journey when we relocated to Cancun, Mexico. Upon our arrival, we were blessed to meet Pastor Arturo and his congregation at Fe, Amor y Esperanza. He shared with us an especially personal and heartfelt mission; the church’s ongoing Christmas project to feed families living in poverty. We were inspired by his heart for this project and began brainstorming ideas on how we could help. We came up with the idea of creating festive beach blankets using the region’s soft and charming textiles. Behind the beauty and purpose of these delightful blankets is an even more gracious cause inspired by kindheartedness embodied by Fe, Amor y Esperanza. We started with a simple goal of selling 16 blankets to help support this cause. As more orders came in we saw the potential to be able to help support other projects. ?Vision: To end poverty in the areas surrounding Cancun, Mexico. Mission: To create opportunities for those living in poverty so that they may provide for themselves and their families.
