About The Matchbox Maker Ltd

We, Michelle Harle & Katie Crosbie Dawson, launched the company in October 2025! We are old friends and having met up at the races of all places, we realised we were both at a cross roads and not really sure which way to go! We have two children each and the youngest terrors had just started school… We suddenly had some time on our hands at long last and had a yearning to create and achieve something we could be proud of. So, after much soul searching, The Matchbox Maker was born! With Katie’s experience from her time working in the gift industry and Michelle’s expertise in bespoke luxury, we set out to create a beautiful range of luxury matchboxes which we hope people will love. We are excited to introduce lots of different product lines along our journey but it has all started with a tiny spark from which we hope great flames will grow.Read their story
