Our Story – Kandeala Kandeala was born from a love of cozy moments and the desire to create with intention. The name “Kandeala” is inspired by the Filipino word kandila, meaning candle — a nod to our roots and a reflection of where our journey began. As a Filipina with a lifelong sensitivity to artificial fragrances and harsh ingredients, I started hand-pouring soy candles in search of a cleaner, gentler alternative. What began as a personal solution quickly became a passion project. I wanted others to experience the same warmth and comfort without compromising on quality or well-being. But Kandeala didn’t stop at candles. Fueled by my love for all things handmade and homey, I expanded our collection to include handcrafted scrunchies, makeup bags, and book sleeves — small everyday luxuries designed to bring joy and a touch of comfort to your routine.
