My jewelry dish business started by accident when I was a Senior in college at Texas A&M and received my Aggie ring. I needed a cute place to put it (along with my other everyday jewelry) at the end of the day. I had just purchased a Silhouette Cameo and decided that printing a little sticker and putting it on a blank ceramic dish was a cute way to show off my accomplishment and keep my jewelry safe. After posting a picture of it, my friends asked if I could make one for them. A lightbulb went off in my head... this could be profitable! I quickly opened an Etsy shop and started adding more and more colleges to my portfolio. My jewelry dishes are a thoughtful gift for someone with a deep love for their Alma Mater, those heading off to college, or to celebrate a Collegiate milestone, such as earning their college ring or graduating. -Courtney Perkins (CourtPerk)Read their story
