I’ve always been passionate about gentle, natural skincare, and after years of searching for a toxin free solution for my sensitive skin, I decided to take matters into my own hands. By marrying ancient soap-making traditions with modern scientific knowledge, I created soaps with clean ingredients that effectively sooth and nourish your skin. That’s when I launched Butter & Lye, a small business based in Brooklyn, New York, dedicated to providing top-quality, nontoxic solutions for sensitive skin. At the heart of everything we do here is care and kindness — for our customers, our community, and the environment. Every sale supports our community- For every bar of Butter & Lye soap purchased, we donate a bar to someone in need who could use that morsel of joy. It’s all about giving back.
